My Week with Mrs. King’s Class
Hola boys and girls! I’ve had another very exciting week at
Reynold’s School! This week I was with the students in Mrs. King’s class.
You’ll see by the pictures they took with me, that I got to do so many fun
first grade things. In the beginning of the week I learned how to play a Math
game called “Coin Exchange”. On that same day, there was a famous author named
Douglas Florian who came to visit the students. I got to hear him read some of
his books and see some of his super cool animal illustrations. The week
continued with lots of other fun activities. I got to help fill in the
calendar, learn a new game in word study, and even wrote like a Scientist! One
day it was Mrs. King’s birthday. A boy in her class even let me help him make
her a card. The students are so lucky because they get to do something called
“Brain Breaks” on a website called “Go Noodle” every day. Together, we danced
and sang a birthday song to Mrs. King. The first graders are super readers! I
helped two friends turn and talk about a book. I even read a little bit about
pets in a book called Biscuit Finds a Friend. At the end of each day,
Mrs. King’s students pack up their things and do their class jobs. I got to
help out with that too! As you can see, I had a very exciting week at Reynold’s
School. I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures and hearing about my special
time. I hope Rocket is having fun with you!
