ReplyDelete1- No, we do not wear uniforms at our school. We can wear our own clothes. Most of the students at Reynolds wear t-shirts, sweatshirts, and comfortable clothing. Many students wear sneakers to school.
- The symbol (shield?) of our school is a rocket ship. We called ourselves the "Reynolds Rockets".
- We practice sports during Gym class and recess. Some of the sports we like to play are soccer, basketball, frisbee, golf, and tennis. Yes, we are very lucky to have a big sports field behind our school. We have a baseball and soccer field as well as tennis courts all on our school campus.
- The subjects that we learn about every day are: Math, Word Study, Writing Workshop, Reading Workshop, Calendar, Shared Reading, Open Circle (where we learn about how to do good things and not break school rules), Science, and Social Studies. Our school day starts at 8:00 in the morning and finishes at 2:30 in the afternoon.
- Some of our favorite musicians are Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, One Direction, Pharell, and Nick Jonas. We love to sing and dance too!
- Many of us have household pets. Some of these include dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and hermit crabs. Animals that live in the wild within our community are deer, birds, turkeys, geese, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and bats.
- We live very close to New York City. We are only about 30 minutes away! Some famous places there are The Empire State Building, Broadway (a famous street where there are plays and singers), The American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, The George Washington Bridge, The Metropolitan Opera House, and yes- The Statue of Liberty.
